Burger Throwdown 6/19-6/20

Yeah, and Canadian burgers are hot dogs. They've got it all backwards :lol:

I have no idea how it got the name Canadian Bacon. I didn't try it, or really know what the hell it was until about a year ago. I had to look it up to find out that it's actually brined, center-cut boneless pork loin. dry as a popcorn fart too if you eat it by itself.

I have heard people refer to bologna as "Newfoundland Steak" though :lol:
 
Ok I am in. I just got back from the store and buying ingredients for JayT's Ultimate Burgers. It won't be long now...I'm hungry!
 
Well, I was totally in before last night. We had a crazy ass tornado-like storm rip through the neighborhood downing trees and power lines. Power just came on about an hour ago according to my girlfriend, so I'll have to see if the burger fixins survived in the fridge or not. If not, I definitely won't be able to get things together in time to post pics tonight. The only thing I may HAVE to contribute will be booze pics.


Maybe me and Patrick can combine our scores for ultimate WIN action. He can make the burgers, and I'll do the liquor money shots.
 
I was hoping to get in on this, but the rains and lightning came through. I didn't have a tornado like storm rip through, but I did lose power for a bit.
