Interesting thing about this the larger on the right started in a puck three days before starting in loose jiffy seed mix...

Thoughts ?
 
Or are willing to learn to approach graft :P

I suspect that the moisture of the puck hydrated the seed, and possibly gave it a jumpstart on its competition?

Just a guess.
