C. Flexuosum Questions

Whats up with Capsicum Flexuosum? I keep seeing thats its called a bridge species between wild pepper species and more domestic species, but I cant find if the more domestic means partially domestic or just domestic. Not to mention I cant find anything on what species its a bridge species of. Does anyone know?

I found them to be one of the most challenging wild peppers to set pods and viable seeds....

I do not. I've only attempted 26 to 26,never to 24.
