Dude, that loaf sandwich IS obscene... To tell you the truth, I'm not even sure I'm allowed to be looking at this.

For real though, that is one bad ass loaf sandwich and it makes me ohh so hungray!

This thread is making me hungry and I just ate lunch! My biggest fat moments occur at the worst place to eat in the world - BUFFETS! There is this huge sushi buffet near me that I swear I have quit, I will not go back! It's too good.....
 
Here's a confession of sorts ... Jason's Deli pastrami and corned beef monsters ... I had to quit, but as you can see, I had a number of them before doing so ...

hot, cold, with mayo, with mustard, both meats, each meat, with kraut ... all awesome ... and each made me retain water for 2-3 days ...

so terrible, so awesome ... i think i might have to learn how to prepare that kind of meat at home, in a more healthy way ...

who rocks the pastrami or corned beef at home process? i want to learn ...
 
The only way to rock corned beef is with beer.

For a 3lb brisket:

12oz hoppy light ale
Seasoning packet included with brisket
2 cloves
2 bay leaves

Put everything in a pot, add water until your brisket is submerged and put on an stovetop over low-medium heat until fork tender, or about 4 hours.
