Can I eat it?

Hi Everyone.
 
One of my Santa fe Grande's can't handle the weight of the fruits, so I've taken the ones closest to the ground. If they touch it sooner or later something makes holes in them :confused: .
 
Some of their fruits have black marks on then. I think it's due to the humidity in the greenhouse - some ends of branches are dying and then fungi is growing on them.
Spots on the fruits are not growing, but clearly the plant was fighting with them. Are those fruits eatable? Should I scrape/cut off those black spots?

Cut it in half and see what the inside looks like. It the inside looks good I would say it is still a maybe.

If the insides look rotten, definite no.
 
Part of me sez:  Come On!  You shouldn't even have to ask about the one on the bottom right!
 
Then again, I realize Whole Foods sells peppers that look similar for $5/lb.  :)
 
Thank you for your opinions. This weekend I've checked them: After a week of sitting near the window their interiors were fine. Except the hideous one all of the interiors were fine. The surface needed just scraping off the spots.
 
After eating them I haven't suffered any side effects.
