Can someone identify these eggs on my plants

I have had aphids in my plants but last night I released ladybugs all over the garden. this morning a few leaves had eggs under them. Are these ladybug eggs or something I should get rid of?

Definitely not ladybug eggs.
 
Unless someone is able to positively identify them as belonging to a beneficial insect, I would squish them.
 
I don't know enough about the critters in California to wager a guess as to what it belongs to, but ladybug eggs are long in shape, usually yellow and clustered together.
 
Agree - ladybug eggs are as Prazzie described. However, that could be (could be) a butterfly egg. That means it will hatch into a caterpillar that might be hungry for your plants before making a cocoon and developing into a butterfly. Most bugs like stinkbugs lay groups of eggs closely together, including moths. That this is a single egg makes me think it is more likely a butterfly. Note they will sometimes have a few together, but not usually a lot. You might just consider moving the egg to another place.
