Just with forum posts in general, I tend to copy it to a separate text editor before attempting to post (you'll need to use 'BBCode Mode' for this). If it fails, you can always copy it back for tweaking and retrying. But then I personally haven't had this problem in months.
Can't update an ongoing topic

Can't update ongoing topic, nor start new one. The post disappears upon "review" or upon clicking "post new topic" button. Tried from different computers, different locations, same results.
