What a treat!!! It`s pods like these that I could eat all day long!
 
The initial aroma is extremely strong for such a small pod, but is also a very simple C.chinense aroma. No musty aromatics that some people don`t enjoy. Just straight ahead, clean chinense. Perfect! A hint of fruitiness helps there, too.
 
The flavours and heat just explode into being. The C.chinense version of the Big Bang! 
 
The initial flavors are very fruity, mixed with incredibly clean chinense type characteristics. There are no cloying or musty flavours, just pure deliciousness. The initial fruitiness does`t last long and fades into a nice grassy green fresh flavor, which slowly fades to some slight sweetness. It`s all over in a few minutes, leaving you wanting more. The fruitiness of these pods reminded me of a cross between a black cherry and a dark purple plum. 
 
The heat is the same. An explosion that get`s up to be pretty hot and then decays quickly. It`s up around Tepin-levels of heat, perhaps slightly more, but is a very smooth, warming heat.

Great review Nigel. Still waiting for my Cumari Do Para to give me some ripe pods. If I like them I will venture on to these as well.
 
it looks quite a bit like "Ma" Wiri Wiri  it originates from Guyana,well it looks like when i send you some samples again for review there will be a few in the mix

It`s a bit tougher, no question. I highly recommend you find yourself a secondhand (and cheap) Aerogarden. It`s plug and play hydroponics and they work extremely well for these types of plants. Growth rates are about 3x what you get in soil. I paid $25 for both Aerogardens I have via Craigslist, then extra for the nutes, sponges etc. Well worth looking into. Just don`t buy one new!
 
Awesome job mate. You nailed every aspect of that pod. The sweetness is definitely on the back end. Smallish soft seeds make it easy to eat on the run and not have cut them out. It is frustrating how these types of pods get soft in transit. When fresh off the plant,the texture is similar to biting into a raw piece of onion. Again,great work.
 
Nice review as usual Nigel!  Glad you compare them favorably to Cumari do Para.  They are a nice little pepper and the plant is both pretty and surprisingly resilient.  My still very small overwinters recovered after being covered with aphids, then mildew and then my forgetting to water them just as winter ended.  Their leaves turned to powder and their stems were brown husks, but they made it!  A larger 7 pot didn't.
 
Emmeriaa, they can do fine in Massachusetts, especially if you overwinter them and don't give up on them, even if they look bad!

Once again, Nigel, your review makes me want to grow the strain. I've been looking for a wild variety to start. I think this is it. Excellent review! The sound of black cherry and dark purple plum flavor is very inviting. Thank you!
 
Thanks Nigel!  I've been kind of lucky - plants like their new location, no major disease problems this year and the few jumbo-sized aphids that showed up this spring went away on their own.  I also have a tepin-CAP 691 cross that is quite hot for its size.

I had thought about not getting seeds of it, but I don't really have any C. chinense in my wild category I have to get at least two or three wild varieties of C. chinense, to go in my 2015 list which will be all wilds so I will add it back on my list.
