Carolina Reaper color?

Ok this is my first time growing any super hots but I'm growing 2 reapers in dwc now the peppers are turning yellow instead of red is this a normal step before they turn red am I not waiting long enough. I thank everybody in advance for responses.

I'm growing some  reapers from two sources here, so what I get is what I get, having said that  there was a post on Facebook about showing off some gnarly looking pods I think it may have been posted by Spicegeist any way I was Browsing the pod porn when I came across a pod that I thought was A yellow Primo but was posted as a yellow C. Reaper, but as I have not heard anyone talking about yellow reapers.  I just let the whole thing make a nest in the back of my brain till something hatches, there was some cool looking pepper pods including two pods by the same guy that looked like they had been painted, being that the pods looked some what like a yellow wax pepper that had purple striping to a degree.b, but it wouldn't be the first time I have been wrong.

Yeah all of the pods on these plants are going to an Orange/yellow color so I am no longer expecting any red pods however unfortunate it may be but oh well I'll get my next seed direct from puckerbutt and start over I know these can grow for years but I'm going to try again next winter I expect the heat from my lamps to be a bit extreme to be able to continue my grow through the summer unless I move them outside for the summer.

I'd still love to trade with you for that oddball Reaper. I have a reaper plant growing from a reaper that grew true. I can double check that guy to see if he grows true again. I'll show some pics and isolate a pod with nylon if you're interested. I think I'll let it grow pods in June.
