Carolina Reaper Pepper Discoloration

So just recently my reaper plant started to produce pods. I've noticed on each pod some type of discoloration starting from the top working its way down to the bottom as the pepper gets bigger. Any idea on what might be causing this? I attached pictures of the biggest pepper that's on the plant

Yes, I have had some fungal issues with some of my superhots leading to not as many leaves on the plant. Most of the plants have lost alot of the bottom leaves but have a decent amount on the top. Do i need to discard the ones getting sunburnt or will it fix itself?

just leave it.  Sunscald is usually cosmetic as long as it doesn't get too bad.  It could cause the pod to get soft, if it starts to rot cut it off and toss it or cut around the rot and eat it.
