My garden is 244 feet square which is big considering my yard ( about 1/4 of my yard)

Here is the plan for this year

All the bottom left square is new from this year. Removed the grass and dug 3 feet with a shovel

Woot! Nice grow, man.

Looks like you've got some sunburn on your leaves. My advice would be to park them in partial shade for a few days before moving them into full sun next time. If it makes you feel any better, I have the same thing happen to a few plants every season.

For your ant problem, I'd go with a bait (Amdro, etc). Aphids are pretty easy to deal with. A castille soap solution sprayed on your plants and rinsed off fifteen minutes later should do the trick.

Little update : I sprayed 1 time per week during the last 3 weeks my pepper  with a soap based product and they are getting good . The sunburn start to disappear a little.

I got some plants with pepper and flower and almost every other with buds

Here is the rosemary pepper:

My peach bhut jolokia is also doing good

20150713_114206_zpsvfgfpdlw.jpg

The fun thing is that some plant like early jalapeno are growing slower than my late pepper like the peach bhut jolokia ... logic noottt

Im so excited to make some sauce this year!! :fireball:

So I found out I mismatched the peach bhut jolokia while potting the peppers this year and it turn out that its a tomato pepper from judy
At least im still having a peach bhut ( I hope )

As you can see it look exactly as my tomato pepper plan ( v ) on the grid

I just ate my first pepper of the season which was a rosemary pepper, those little fellas pack some good heat! Forgot to take the picture before eating it

The next one in the list to ripen is the starfish which give good result every year.

I think half the plant will have time to give out pods this year, been a pretty cold year and many of my plant are still small like this early jalapeno (suppose to be fast in cold climate..???)

I really like the size of this pepper and its just about the perfect heat for me to eat raw and its also very fruity. I know its just 15 000 shu but its plenty hot for me.

I just also collected a garlic to check it out. Tell me what you think about them
20150730_130303_zpsncxvw2r6.jpg

That's a nice head of garlic and the leaves look to be ready. Seems like some huge cloves on that one.

Have never tried the starfish but that pic is making me want to put it on next year's list. Nice job!

Looks fine!
Though lately i'm becoming a fan of turkish garlic. And just not because cloves are huge (and i won't spit on that, i hate peel garlic), it tastes really fresh!

First little haul of the season!

2 "fresno" (finally ive looked the web for fresno and this is definitively not fresno) let call them hot red :P
4 starfish
20150819_175636_zpslzyielir.jpg

There was one hot red with a hole on it so I have cut it in half and the interior is strange. I would like you guy to comment on this.

20150819_175822_zps2o6du2dq.jpg

There is black stain and I never saw that before.

Where the hole is.

Too much water??

The oily paste from Judy is definitely a strange peppe

The 90 garlic harvest

20150804_180054_zpsx2w7ckpq.jpg

I think the black stuff is mold/mildew, which sometimes happens when a bug chews into a pod.

You are doing a great job, Quebecois!  Always good to see our northern brothers growing some hot
stuff!  Those garlic are impressive!
