Cheese Making

Heya I was just wondering if anyone out there has ever done cheese making I was checking out courses available around me and I think for a few classes it was like $400 or so (not cheap but it sounds like a good course). Just curious as I thought it would be pretty cool if people had given a try to making chilli cheeses and such. I know its a lot of effort and waiting would be a bit killer.

Good topic, I always wanted to try this.
I was tempted to buy a simple cheese making kit, but I think I'll start with buying a good book and doing some more research online.
Good luck, and keep us updated

I don't think you need to spend loads of dough on classes. I'd save the jing to spend on equipments. Here is my source for awesome all thangs cheese making.

I have had a go at cheese making and it is actually quite easy. Assuming you want to make hard cheese, the only equipment you need is some type of a press dairy thermometer and a ph meter would be handy too. You can find the cultures and rennet that you will need in many online shops.

As Texas Blues has said, the cheese forum above is the place to be.

Awesome thanks for the link have either of you attempted something with a bit a bit more extra bite? When I have a bit more time I'll look around the site a bit more there is probably some examples and recipes on there I'm guessing.
