Doesnt look like a bhut to me, no idea what it is. Is it even a chinense? Can you see whether there are multiple flowers coming out of the same spot or just single flowers?

I'd say is an Annuum. More pictures, please, more detailed, as STB said: picture of flowers per node, picture of flower itself,...
 
Edit: I mean, to identify if is Annuum or other. However is not looking as sometihng known for me (not that I am an expert), I would guess is a cross. Does it having other pods too? Same shape or different shape?

Well this has me confused! I bought my seeds from a reputable supplier in UK too! No flowers right now - historical pictures of flowering only show one per node, white flowers but not good photos for details of the flower itself.

The leaves looks Anuum .The fruit is wrinkled could be a Anuum X Chinense.
Maybe Bhut crossed with Anuum

Update! Seems to be turning purple / brown!
