Ingredients:
3 Peppers (Habanero)
2 kg Apples
400 gram Raisins
75 gram Ginger
1 kg Brown Sugar
1 Liter Applecider Vinegar
2 Bay Leafs
5 Cinnamon sticks
Juice of 1 Lemon
Recipe:
Peel and core the apples and cut them in cubes. The lemon juice prevents to much discoloration of the apples. Remove the seeds from the peppers and chop finely. Ginger can be grated or chopped very finely.
Put everything in a big pot on medium heat. Stir gently until the sugar is completely dissolved. Simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally, for about to hours until the chutney thickens. Remove the bay leafs and cinnamon sticks. Pour hot chutney in sterilized jars. I put the jars in a hot water bath for 20 minutes..
