Let's trade some wild collected chiltepín seeds.
 
I have some that were picked from very old plants in the colorado river valley near east Austin. Elevation about 450'
 
In the wild here they grow under nurse trees like Hackberries. If conditions are right they will climb 10' or more. When ripe the bright red pods are easily removed by mockingbirds.
 
I'm looking for some wild collected seeds from Arizona of the Sonora type.

I have a weird Tepin vine that regrow every summer. I sadly cant do it know since I didnt know it was Tepin until winter shook.

Here is a plant in my backyard today growing along a small Loquat tree. I picked a 100 or more peppers today off the backyard plants. I grew these backyard plants from wild collected seeds.
 
The peppers in the round white container came off of the wild plants a couple days ago. Thanks for lookin!

I just made some tacos and put one fresh tepín in each.
 
When I bite into the intact pepper I get an instant jolt of ripe tepín flavor. Then the sides of my tongue start to feel some heat and the back of my throat. My sinuses start to open up and my eyes tear a bit. Then about 30 seconds later I feel a warm sensation in the front of my face as my forehead starts to sweat and I get a rush of heat that goes through my body down my legs and then it's gone in about 3 minutes. 
 
Time for the next taco.
