Choc Handgrenade Hab...Green to chocolate?

It's looking like both my Choc Handgrenade Habs are not as advertised. Do pods ripen from green to chocolate?

Yes, browns go from green to brown.

What other color would they start as? Blue?
 
Actually, if they did that I'd buy a lot more chocolate pods.

Yes green to brown.. No red or other colours along the way.
