Today i sat and watched varieties through by thehippyseedcompany ...!!!

By Chocolate Habanero writes the following.

And the Congo Black
The Congo Black is from the Caribbean. Er Also known as the Chocolate Habanero or scotch bonnet Brown.

Is the same plant ...??
Anyone can confirmed that, or put a little logic into it :banghead:
 
I will say this…my SB Choc doesn't have the smoky flavor like the rest of them do. That has been my experience thus far.

I ordered brown congo for next year and was a bit confused. Hoping it's not the same
as brown habanero because I already have it.

considering all chilis originated in the Americas

the congo black is probably a direct decendant of the choc bonnet/ choc habanero.
 
usually on the island of Trinidad, Congo means Habanero I am pretty sure...
