smoking Choice brisket prices in your area?

Just got back from the only local meat market in my area. They will sell me a whole Choice packer for $4.99lb. Do your prices approach that figure? On a positive note, they have 42 ales/lagers on tap, plus growlers. I can score a 32oz growler of Franziskaner Hefe for $6.50. That, to me, is a fine deal.

I end up paying a lot more where I live, $6.50-7/lb, I think I recall.

Getting to pickup growlers in the same trip ... makes it epic, though.

Hmm...maybe my prices here aren't so bad. As for the growler prices, these are 32 ouncers. Still, a good price, especially on the German Hefe.

Missed that on the original post.

My joint has brisky at 2.99 for whole untrimmed.

Add a buck for trimmed.

Add more bucks for any flats or points wrapped on the wall.

Unless labeled specifically, 99.9% of people can't tell the difference when looking at select or prime.

Well, that's fine. But, what grade meat does $2.99lb get you? That's the point.
