The top went well...

And then into the oven.
 
It was fantesticle.
 
Cilantro and diced onion on corn tortillah's.
 
Mandatory.
 
You can buy a real trompo or.
 
Get one of them fancy table top.
 
Vertical rotisseries.

Oven works good enough for me.
 
What do I have planned.
 
I dunno.
 
I eat tacos almost every day.
 
So does mrs. blues.

Fresh halibut cut into strips.
Soaked in half-n-half, Johnny's seasoning salt and a habanero basil salt garlic
Tossed with bread crumbs and the same seasoning.
Deep fried!

Tartar sauce-
Mayo
No pickles so I used pickled pepperoncini peppers from masher,
shallot,
garlic
Salt...

Cabbage slaw something
Purple cabbage shredded
Purple onion
More pickled peperoncini
Pickled pepper juice....

now THAT`S a fish taco!!! i did Tilapia last night and they were ok but these look delicious. 
 
I have been getting this marinated, really thin sliced steak from the Mexican market. I'm gonna grill some of that, cut it up with scissors, Toss it in the dutch oven with water and some more seasoning, and taco till I floppo.

Probably have to make ground beef tacos too, cause my kids are buttheads, and they won't try a steak burrito. I shod just starve them out and only make stuff they don't want in till the eat it. But the wife is picky too, and I dont think I can starve her out.

when the wife says we`re having chinese stir fry tonight then that's what we`re having.  :rolleyes:
 
chicken breast and leftover roast pork, mushrooms, broccoli, green, yellow, orange and red pepper. shredded carrot and green onion. japanese sesame oil and soy. dried thai chili pods crushed into my plate. over rice of course. delicious!

I started the steaks indirect on the char-griller, then transfered to sear on weber #1. Then to the dutch oven bottom on weber #2, with a can of hotels(lol rotels) and some Williams taco seasoning.

Big green onions, cilantro, lime, and refried beans. Mrs. Renfros habanero salsa to spice it up. I had never bought cotija until yesterday. Its pretty mild, but I liked it.

We put my buddy's new boat out on the lake after we ate. Kids liked it.

I'm finally cooking my Cinco meal. My favorite gardening/pepper growing uncle passed away 2AM on the 4th and It's been a hectic week.

SHEET, I had a blow out. I used pork steaked pounded thin and they started falling apart as the fat cooked then the whole thing went to hell. Time to fire up the gasser to finish these off.

All that Oorah talk made me go check on my old jewelry, maybe one day I'll make a "Hero wall" and display all my memories to tells lies when people ask. I'll have to research and get all these right, I'm noticing some need more stars.
