I'm straight up outta cash in my garden fund but only half done planting out and have no supplies left so I'm having this auction on two bubblegum 7 pot plants. I bought the seeds off of a website out of Denmark.

This strain is totally unstable so there's no way to know if these plants will produce the characteristic bubblegum pods.

The strain from Denmark have not been growing true. A couple of guys out of Oz have grown them out and the calyx did not bleed red, it stayed green. Number one sign that it is the off-phenotype. Hope the info helps. :)
 
Growing the Bubblegum 7 (Jon Uk strain). It's from the guy that created the Bubblegum 7, Borg 9 etc. Will send you some when its more stable. Ate a whole one last season at Nagacanario's house. Its the real thing. :)
 
Sure, I would grow out as well to see what phenotype you get. A bit like a pepper lotto ticket. Could be a winner. Best of luck on the rest of the grow.

Thanks man but if it's already known to grow untrue then I'm not really comfortable selling them to someone. Kinda feels like pawning off my misfortune to others. I'll probably give a few more away though cuz I've already got more plants than financial means to grow them all out so i dont want to fill my limited spaces on a gamble that's already lost!

I'll still grow a few but not as many as i was planning on!
 
Another way to tell if it is the Bubblegum 7 is the calyx is totally different then any other varieties that I have come a cross. Looks like a cross, blocked at the ends. Off-type phenotype calyx will look regular. That should save you alittle time in finding the right phenotype as well.

hey grow your plants out! You have a 50/50 chance as for yes or no. When you have pods post pics. I`m going to try with my friends who are all growing also to post the good/bad and ugly. It will help everyone who got seeds and grown and don`t know if they have the real deal. This strain at best is 2 grow seasons away of being counted on. Do your friends a favor and don`t sell or trade to them. Let them wait and go nuts.They want the real thing not a bad attempt My honest opinion Rich
