I actually didn't grow tovarii this season.  I took a break from a few of the wilds I have grown in the past.  I hope others have healthy plants from the ones I sent around though!

Ah, I hope so too.  I've had a heck of a time getting any of the Tovarii seeds I got a hold of to germinate.

More flowers from the pepper garden.    Plants are growing slow, but seeing a bit of a pick-up with the warmer temps the last week.

I had to take two glances at the Mini Olive Rocoto x USDA cardenasii F2.
 
At first it looked like a giant black aphid-like insect was stalking the flower.
 
On the second look, I saw it another bud about to bloom.
 
I wonder if there's a lesson there?

It's funny as I did the exact same thing when I first reviewed the photo.

Some varieties are starting to set pods, but overall a pretty slow season.  A bad June delayed stuff a fair amount.  The weather is pretty nice now though.
