Compmodder26's 2015

And so it begins!!

Well planning anyway...

I've put together my grow list for the year.  I'm scaling back the number of varieties, opting instead to grow more of each variety.

Here's what I will have going:
Mild-Medium:
Banana x3
Jalapeno x3
Huge Bell x3
Orange Bell x3
Orchid/Bishop's Hat x2

Supers (Yellow)
Yellow 7 Pot Brainstrain x4

Supers (Red) -
Monster Naga x5
7 Pot Caramel x5

Supers (Brown) -
7 Pot Brown x7
Brown Moruga Scorpion x7

I will be planting the supers on Feb. 1 and the rest will be started on Mar. 1.

This is the tentative layout for the community garden:

I'll be back on in a few weeks!

Best of luck!  No medium hots?

Thanks Jamison.  Nah, I prefer the supers myself, and nobody in my family likes anything above mild.  If I process the peppers into something else it's always a sauce or a powder, so I can control heat to my intended audience through mixing other peppers in.

Looks like a great plan, Brian.  Have thought about that tack myself.
I could have 4 or 5 each of 7 varieties, but I just have too many I
want to grow.

Amazing restraint, brother!

Updated counts germination :

7 Pot Brown: 7/12
Brown Moruga Scorpion: 3/12
Monster Naga: 2/12
Caramel 7 Pot: 2/12
Yellow Brain: 1/12

So most of the action is the ones on the outer edge of the propogation insert.  I think I accidentally let the middle cells get too dry.  I'm afraid I may have killed any babies that would have germed. So to be safe, I went ahead and popped another seed of each variety into each middle cell.  Gonna keep a much better eye on soil wetness.

Awright, buddy, I hope your seeds continue to pop for ya.

You have some awesome varieties going now.
