shopping compost tea, stump tea product

hey,
im in the process of setting up my compost tea brew. so far i have a 5 gal bucket, an air bubbler, a bag of bat guano, black unsulphured molasses.

I went to by mycorrhizae, however all i could find was a bag of stump tea by HTG, so i plan to use this at first. I will be adding this to happy frog soil.

Now im looking to make some worm castings.



can anyone point me to a good guide or give suggestions?
 
The stump tea is basically dried molasses to feed the microbes in soil. Open the pack and take a whiff,it is "sugary". Would probably be better for dusting a ham with. You can't actually buy "mycorrhiza", it's an association. You can buy stuff to make that association happen,and make it stronger.
 
it looks like i just use a storage bin, cut some holes in the bottom for run off water, add newspapper, cardboard, food scraps like banannas,coffee grounds, and some dirt. spray with water, add worms and wait?
 
well, both. im getting ready to make tea and want to add the worm castings in the future.

One of the best things you can add to your AACT is "local" wild humus. It will inoculate your TEA with beneficials that are good for your climate

The difference between humas and compost:

Compost is mixed weekly and is geared more toward bacterial decomposition. This process creates a lot of heat and kills off or prevents *some* fungal growth. Humas is the result of slow cool decomposition, allowing for an optimal environment for beneficial fungi.
