vlog Cool video on a cheap soil additive to retain water

I remember a agro product I used in the early 90s called P4 that I think was the exact same stuff in the diapers. My understanding is it is basically inert and it will hold and release nutrients too. Haven't seen it in a long time, never thought about diapers.

edit: Ok I looked it up and its not inert. its a polymer crystal and breaks down after a few years. Still  interesting though
