what is your watering schedule you dont keep them this wet all the time do you ?
they should only need a good drink about once a week and let it dry out all the way then water again and those pots in the grass cant tell how good of drainage/oxygen holes you have
looks like you mix needs some perlite in for aeration as well

edit typo

Thank you for your answer...
That once peer week kinda shocked me, tbh.

I do not keep them that wet as you see in the picture. I just watered them like 5 minutes before photoshooting, but... I do water them 3 times per week :/
My thinking process was kinda like: "Oh noh, they are turning yellow, drying - not enough water."
Water drainage and holes are good, at least I think so.

Thank you again for you answer.

you are welcome
well depending on the situation sun heat humidity u may need to water more than once per week im jsut thinkin back to when mine were that size jsut go by when the mix is dry put yer index finger down in the mix along the side of the pot when u can go all the way and it feels dry give them a drink
best of luck

Your plants look pretty good to me. Its normal for the bottom leaves to be the first ones to start to yellow and may eventually come off. Other than that dont keep the soil too moist. Ive made the mistake in the past on soaking to much. I wouldnt worry too much about it or you'll drive yourself

good luck.

Same thing was happening to me. We had so much rain that my plants were always soaked and had yellow leaves. We've had better weather as of late and my plants have started to take off and are looking healthy now. Shame we're getting about 5 days of rain in the coming days though :(

I think this problem just became more serious...
Plants are losing leaves and really fast. Yesterday morning I found 3 leaves fallen off, today 3 again. And not those initial, bottom leaves, but "normal" ones. And they are not even yellow or anything. :(

I searched the forum and I think I (correctly) pinpoint both of the problems. Ok, the first one actually because of you guys ;)
So...

Yellowish leaves - overwatering
Falling leaves - shock from the sun

Two days ago I started hardening them off. I put them on the sun for 30 minutes each day. At around 6PM when sun wasn't that strong, but it was direct sunlight. Was that too much for my seedlings?

My peppers kinda stopped growing. Specially habaneros.
I mean, they are forming flowers, but that's about it (excluding habaneros).

I would like to know, if my pots are a bit too small for my current peppers?
I transplanted one of each kind to a bit bigger pots from 4 to 6 inches, just to test the waters :)

Four habaneros:

Peak of this years summer and my chillies are no way near ready. Maybe I'll stop removing flowers so I can get at least one pod this year :D

overwatering/poor drainage/lack of air getting to the roots at the very bottom i c u use them pots in trays with holders those can drain poor and allow water to sit and the air flow down there no good take em outa that and set them up on the railing there(if its not too windy) or an open place where they will get good air flow threw the holes(and i would put about 4 1/4 inch holes around the very bottom sides as well for better air flow and drainage)

shock from the sun(see next quote)

when i took my trays of 30 out for there first time i put them in the sun and it only took about 10 mins for them to show signs of not digging it any more so move them to shade for 15 mins then back n forth like that extending the sun or the shade time depending on plant reaction a few were more were apt to it than others as well as i had 1 guy that jsut feared the sun and he took a few days of this when most of the others pretty much jumped at the chance to be in the sun so i guess what im tryng to say is they will respond and react surprising fast to there conditions so start short and watch them and react orcordingly

thats about the size i went to 5 gallons mayb a few weeks bigger
if your past your peak you better hurry if u pot up to 5 gallons and give em a good drink of fish emu mix in the hole before you put the plant in i bet they take off

Best of luck man

Thanks for all the help SRBII!
I really appreciate it.

Even though I searched the forum, read all the available resources I made lots of mistakes.
I guess this will be my "learning" season :)

Thank you again and again.
