Corn worms grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Okay I haven't grown corn in my life but was wondering if there is anything that you use to prevent the corn worms for I got them. They are eating my precious sweet corn up. I was thinking about using sevin dust and dust the silks real good. For when we get them we always wash the ears off so what do you think or have used.

Buy a small bottle of liquid garlic and pour the whole thing in a squirt bottle and spray with that. Thats what the ol' timers use!
