Monday I got in a bottle of bhut sauce and some dried chilies from the ol' Cowboy. Order Friday morning and they arrived undamaged Monday morning, can't get better service than that. I've eaten the sauce 3 times now I think I can do some sort of half-assed review.
The smell is chili infused with fruit, maybe citrus but can't quite figure it out. Texture is thick and chunky, needs to be shaken as it separates. Tough to get small amounts to come out, not a problem for me but some might be wary of a large amount dropping onto your meal. When hits the tongue it's fruit that hits you first, again slightly sweet citrus flavor. Then it starts to heat working its way back, and increases the more you eat. Nice chili flavor. Went well with grilled chicken and avocado, scrambled eggs and tonight's chicken and broccoli. For a blind by I like it. My only nit to pick would be the heat, while it does have a decent burn I was expecting something more.
