i don't think they are ladybug larvae, i don't get the spiky variety, my ladybug larvae are smooth ass'ed.
your pictured appears to have too much ground clearance, ladybug tend to hug the ground.

Pretty creepy. The ants just showed up to get the honeydew. Like the Aphid/Ant relationship.Good to have magnifying glasses!
On a side note: When's the last time that pepper has shaved her legs?
