breeding Cross Pollinating

Hey All.

This is the first year I want to try and cross some peppers. Does anyone have a good website, or information, about the process and what to expect this year, the next year, etc?

I've googled the information. However, I'm looking for what you all believe to be good information.

Thank you!

well first you would isolate both, then take polen from each with a Qtip or something, then perform the deed, mark which pepper you pollinated by putting a bit of white paint or a peice of tape on the stem or something.

never done it tho so idk

Here is a good guide to doing the crossing itself: http://fatalii.net/Growing_chile_peppers/Breeding

A good site/topic about what to expect the following years/generations, I have not found. I have started crossing myself, and I am trying to document the results, but have only gotten to the first F3 plants this far. Some of the best topics on this are those dedicated to a specific cross. But again I cannot remember seeing any that goes beyond F3.
