Crushed eggshells for fake moths

Ever use the crushed eggshell trick around the ground under the plant to ward off moths so they dont lay eggs? Its supposed to fool them into thinking there are other moths there and scare them away. Thought it might be a good idea.

I’ve never heard of it being done for that reason.

Never heard of that, but try it out. If anything, it's a good source of calcium for your plants!

Doesn't work on my tomatoes, I spread them around for slow acting calcium every year and still get the occasional horn/etc worms. Maybe they can't see that far and it only applies to short plants.
