Cukes on a trellis

This is the first year I've grown my cucumbers on a trellis and it's working out great. It's a huge space saver, and they don't invade my other plants like they always have in the past. Plus, the cukes don't lay in the dirt to rot, get eaten by pests, or get stepped on. I would highly recommend trying it if you haven't already. :)

This is my first year doing it too, and I've been impressed with the results so far, though the vines have gotten a bit adventurous and have started to climbing the surrounding trees and tomato trellis...

I've found it helps with the vines becoming obnoxiously long to let them drape back down to the ground and thread them back up the trellis again... I've done this two or three times with mine. Doesn't look great right now as the leaves are dying back, but it's still producing plenty of cukes.
