Starting to make plans now on what I will be planting in my garden next year. It will for sure include a variety of peppers as well as tomatoes and other plants. All will be started from seed this years as the wifey wants to go organic. Only space I have available to start seedlings is in the unheated garage. We're in zone 7 and winters can still get rather chilly, especially when it's time to plant the seeds and start the germination process. So, I'm planning on building a growbox.
I've got a wire shelving unit sitting around unused. I'm thinking about adding some sort of siding to it and lining the inside of the siding with mylar. I'll use a set of CFLs for lighting and maybe adding a couple of cooling fans for air circulation. I'll likely initially use a warming mat to ensure a nice warm environment and remove it once I see that they growing.

Any problems you see with my plan?

Thanks
