Alrighty folks! It's almost plant out time and that means that my basement and lights are going to be freed up for some crossing projects through the summer.

I have 4 DWC buckets available for growing peppers indoors all summer. (not to mention racks for seedling growout)
2 spots are already taken by White Fatalii and CGN-21500.

These Plants will be the Base for all my other crosses. Meaning that I will use pollen from plants that are outdoors in the rest of my collection crossed with these. These will be tagged and harvested and grown out in the basement to choose phenos. I'm planning on going for taste more than heat.

Plants to choose from

My biggest focus will be crossing the White Fatalii with CGN-21500 but will do plenty of other crosses with them as well.

Here is my entire grow list and potential candidates to be crossed with my final choices (hope that makes sense)

When you compare your Omni pods they are growing almost vertical.... these look to have more bonnet like traits and mostly hang down like pendants

Hope these photos help

The other plant which was very compact and deep in growth at the moment has a mass of small irregular shaped pods, very dark green in colour ... looking forward to showing you them in colour

The one plant is growing identical to omni color, the other two have really small chinese flowers. Only got one pod so far and it was a runt smaller than a tepin

El Scorponero f3 orange pheno #1

Very productive, first plant to set pods though took a while to ripen.

medium thin walled, slightly fruity, doesn't smell too hot or strong (allergies killing me so hard to tell)

Skin- very crunchy and slightly chewy. Pretty low heat, lower than I expected. Kind of disappointed I was hoping for this one to be killer. I still saved seeds though incase I enjoy it in a sauce or powder.

Went ahead and threw these in the smoker with some nebru 7 and mixed thai and cayenne

I tried one the bright yellow pods off the El scorponero plant that had the cool long tails. Taste just like cucumber/melon with no heat on the tongue or lips. Don't feel it until you swallow and it hits the tonsils. Was the first pod I tried, hopefully a trend with it. Might have some keeper qualities sans the low heat.

Omni Bonnets from the compact bushy plant .... has the stereotypical upright form compared to my other plant. Pods are very dark in colour ... biggest pod so far is the squat shaped one bottom left of photo

El Scorponero. I tried half of it and must admit it lit me up decently. Maybe around 100-200k scoville, it was a creeper with good taste too. All I've seen from others is they don't have heat this year...do they appear to be a new pheno?

And I don't feel like picking omni bonnet lol

Some pods from Plant 1. These are the largest off the plant

Plant 2. is producing pods more in the shape of Genetikx a lot smaller plant 1. but that same spinning wheel pheno

I tried a s
Small piece off of the bottom of that do scorpanero. It had some sweetness to it then a decent burn. I will definitely try a bigger piece at some point.

Here are 3 pods off of a different plant. They caught some sunburn or they didn't enjoy the drought I put them through or something.

They look pretty similar to a few of the orange phenos I have going. Maybe a little smaller. Most the orange have been around bonnet heat level.

Yea those are a decent size. Hopefully you like the taste. Most the orange taste similar but wall thicknesses are different giving them different textures.

Those look pretty cool, sunburn almost makes them look like they are melting.

I finally got some ripe nice pods off the lemon yellow pheno.  These are the ones with  little  heat and taste  like cucumber or melon. I think Peter is going to post about those as well. I'm def keeping seeds and will hopefully keep that shape next year that would be nice.

All 3  omni bonnets finally have pods. Plants  all  look way different but pods  are kind  of similar shaped.

Got any Giants this color yet? Despite the pic looking orange, you could easily get away with calling these peach. But unless I overlooked any, think it's the 1st ripe pod from this plant so others may have a different tint

Time to catch now I can show some colour ... did you cross the Omni - colour with a yellow bonnet

These are what you would say are the early wave of pods on the latter lateral branches I am starting to get a longer shape similar to the yellow one shown earlier

Have to show you your Pale Yellow Goat F4 this is a beautiful yellow pods are mostly uniform in shape

This photo doesn't do them justice... I should have got lower and you would have seen their tails

Yea they was crossed with the MOA yellow. Nice that you got a yellow/orange pod. My heavy producer pods are very similar to omni color. If pods where shaped different would of been perfect.

The pale yellow goat is very on par with what mine are producing. A near perfect shape and color.

yes have to say the the pale yellow is a great looking variety and I am pleased it's on par with yours .. In the next week or two I will hopefully have better photos of both Omni and Goat .... glad to be part of your project
