Darkening falling leaves

Hi all,

Newbie here. I woke up this morning and notices that some leaves on my Serrano and jalapeño plants were darkening, and some have fallen.

we has some rain yesterday, could this be from overwatering? Thanks!

Yes, they're in pots of organic potting mix.

Generally potting media or potting mix is designed to drain well as it's "contained" in the pot and not able to drain out to surrounding soil like a garden. But many gardeners water too frequently and your plants leaves issues can be related to this. Try letting them dry out Quite a Bit before adding water ....
