glog Deadpouk's Minimalistic Glog

I've been hesitating for a long time before starting a new Glog,... last year a lot of things happened and I had a hard time keeping it up to date. I hope that this year I'll manage to be more regular.

In January, driven by the desire to sow some seeds, I put some in my aerogarden...

My grow list for this year is:
(There is no guarantee that I won't sow more)

- Pepapeach Stripey (Growdown 2023) : C.Baccatum
- Pepadew South Africa (from Welsh dragon Chilli) : C.Baccatum
- Pepadew Peach (from Welsh dragon Chilli): C. Baccatum
- Rocotto, Mini Olive (Fataliiseeds): C.Pubescens
- Rocoto Marlene (Fataliseeds): C. Pubescens
- Aji Gusanito (Fataliiseeds): C.Chinense
- Arroz Con Polo (Refined Fire Chili): C.Chinense
- Biquinho Red (Fataliiseeds): C. Chinense
- Some F1 Seeds i got from Welsh dragon Chili, if they germinate.

All seeds were sown on February 25, except the one in my aerogarden.

All I have to do now is wait for them to sprout, and start prepping my field to plant them at the end of May.

A little bit of germination after 7-8 days. some seedlings look a little bit leggy imo but should be fine. Not happy with my new heated propagator (vitopod), gets a little bit to hot.

You could use a thermostat if it's getting too hot. Bought one last year and i am very pleased with it. Gives you more control over the situation and ofcourse something to tinker with!

I use one, but i think my propagator is just oversized for the few trays i did. Propagator is like... 110cm x 58cm or something like this

I hope you have a good trip to Japan and your girlfriend takes good care of your plants. I went to Japan for work a couple of years ago (actually 27 years ago ). That was the first time I actually felt like a stranger in a foreign country!

This is my second time in Japan. Last time I had a monster typhoon, so I hope this time I will have better luck with the weather.
But indeed, in Japan you feel really foreign. But well, 27 years ago this feeling must have been very strong.

Came back from japan, i have no idea what happened during that time. My girlfriend took care of them, but.. well i have no idea how to fix this
Pepper leaves are wrinkled, discolored and have some spots
If i could plant out i would try but still one month to go until then....

They look ok to me; just overwatered a bit, I think. Given their size, they probably have good root development and should rebound quickly once back under your tutelage.

My glog is a mess, so rather than start a new one for 2024, I'll just continue with this one.

My list is rather limited, I already have too much of everything (in sauce, dried, powdered,...), and I want to try new things (and other plants that are out of the ordinary).

So here's my growlist from seed:

- RB003 from Fox Peppers, capsicum chinense
- Rooster Spur from Fox Peppers, Capsicum Frutescens (didn't find the annum rooster spur..)
- Korean kimchi Pepper from the seed train, a little bit of a mystery
- Sweet Moruga from Welsh Dragon Chilli
- (Growdown Pepper for my balcony)

And thats it.

I'm off to Norway and Sweden at the end of March and beginning of April, so I'll sow everything before I go, in root riot sponges and in my aerogarden. With a little water it should survive my 10 days leave...
