Due to unforeseen weather conditions in DET, she was not able to upload their videos in time.

That said, I have personally seen proof that DET was able to complete the challenge well before the deadline.

So - I leave it to you folks to decide their fate. The voting for the challenge is 72 hours.

But - if you allow it, we can have 6 videos instead of 5, making for a much more entertaining contest. To facilitate this I'll extend the voting period by 24 hours to 96 hours, which will buy Peppergirl another 24 hours to get their videos uploaded.

What say you, good people of THP? Should she live....or dieeeee?

Hey, no fair! I wasn't messing around, lol. I did start uploading early yesterday, but we had a stupid power surge when I was more than halfway uploaded the first time, and then the second time was at about 85-90% when we lost power for good just before 9pm. Just now got the power back on at 4am. Brrr, it got cold in here--just over 50 degrees.

I'm finishing the upload now and since it seems like everyone is voting for us to still be in the contest(I thank you all very much since I worked hard on this), I will post my vid to the vid & voting thread.

Thanks for setting up this voting thread. Got it finishing uploading now. BTW got my user name wrong--its detroitgirl77 ;) but as I love everything hot and spicy, peppergirl works as well, lol.

Its all uploaded now, just got 2 wait for it to finish processing :rolleyes:
 
I say let her in. We only have 3 contestants so far who have actually finished the challenge. Would certainly up the entertainment factor as well as the competitive nature of the event to have a fourth valid entry into the contest. Plus, LDHS says he has proof that she completed the challenge on time, just didn't get the video uploaded in a timely manner. Perhaps a loss of style points could be in order for that, but I think she should still be allowed to enter her video.

I have a horrible head cold & was so not thinking clearly last night.

OMG - I renamed the poll (to fix her name, sort of) on my phone & it deleted it?

Ah well - it was overwhelmingly in favor of letting her vid in, so there it is.

Crap!
