Dieman Pepper Berry

After some searching I stumbled on Dieman Pepper Berry, native to Tasmannia.

Some interesting health properties from the berries, leaves, even the bark.

Anyone have info or SEEDS available?  Any info or tips on trying to grow it away from it's native climate and environment?

Quick search shows seeds take 6-9 mos to germinate.

That might be a tough one. I only found one site selling seedlings and it was out of stock. One article mentioned some nurseries in australia selling them. Also looks like the plant is super sensitive to heat. Would be cool to grow though. Good luck.

It's now on my bucket list....I am going to try and obtain it and see if conditions here in the PNW will grow it.

Just have to keep looking and get lucky I guess.

We do have a few Aussies on the board, maybe one of them can source seeds or rooted cuttings?

I read it can be cloned.

Coincidentally, my last review featured those. I wasn't keen on the sauce itself but I did like the pepperberry addition. I just wish it were more.

If it helps your search at all, they are Tasmania Lanceolata, also known as Tasmanian Mountain Pepper.
