Different way of looking at things

They taught us about the fragile connection between all living things in grade school but somewhere along the line most forget about that connection.

That's actually interesting and a good article. My wife and I want to become as self sufficient as possible when we buy a few acres down the road. I've always loved nature and honestly do feel that our society as a whole has lost touch with there place in nature. Maybe I just appreciate nature more because I practice hunting, foraging, fishing, ect. It's a great way to really force yourself to realize the symbiotic relationship between every single thing in the environment. That's one thing I've always respected about the Native Americans. They understood that ecosystem and kept there lives within it realizing they were a part of it.
