Disease or mutation?

This is a Carolina Reaper. The cotyledon leafs are malformed and slightly discolored.The first true leaf looks like it's going to be distorted in the same manner.

Is it a mutation or a disease,like some.of the mosaic viruses?

had a few of those myself , mutants they were ( at least mine ) i let them grow but thats how they grew leaves twisting in ways that you wouldn't imagine .

I have seen that with some of mine. I just let them grow out. Sometimes they just grow out of it as the progression of nodes accumulate.
