Would RO water be better, with added nutrients to get the ppm up?
 
On a side note, one of my Trinidad Scorpions has been losing leafs from the bottom up and now the lowest leaf looks like this (see photo). That to me looks like a N deficiency. Correct?

I will be monitoring these three plants for another 7 days, and if they do not improve, they'll will be tossed out.
