Do you think this is a capsicum?

Found this while walking around with my kids today. Do you think it is a capsicum? Chopped it in half for a look and the seeds look like capsicum seeds. Absolutely no pungent smell though.

Looks like some kind of nightshade. A relative of peppers, but these are very toxic do not eat.

Looks like a Jerusalem cherry.....not edible.

Yes, Willard3 is right, its Solanum pseudocapsicum- Jerusalam Cherry, Popularily uses as a wound dressing for cattles.

One of the Solanaceae family. Includes eggplant, tomato, pepper, tobacco and petunias. Also incredibly toxic to eat the leaves of any of them and the fruits of most.
Edit: Nightshade names the family. Can't forget that.
