So since buying fresh chili peppers in my area is really expensive (around $10 for 100g), i decided to start growing my own earlier this year
The challenge here is that i live in a single room approx 3x5 meters and my only window only gets sun around 2-3 hours a day during summertime.
Naturally this means i've had to invest in some grow lights, but this also propose some challenges. Basically it would need to be low-heat and low power draw so i invested in LED grow lights.
I ended up getting 3x 36W (~16W actual draw) and 3x18W (~10W actual draw) lamps from a local chili seed/gardening shop. The total power draw appears to be around 72W.
The 36W lamps have 12 Cree XPE 3W LED's (7 Red + 5 White 6500K)
The 18W lamps have 9 Cree XPE 3W LED's (7 Red + 2 Blue)
I actually started these plants rather late (around end of May) but im working under the theory that since they are indoor and only run on grow lights it wont matter too much what season it is.
They were all started in small leftover plastic mascarpone containers with some dirt and 5 seeds in each. The containers were placed in a small heating tray that keeps the temp around 28°C
Originally i started with a 7 Pot White, Bolivian Rainbow, Picante a Cuore and Habanero Red but quickly i ended up adding more and more varieties over the next 2 months.
Growlist:
7 Pot Primo Orange
7 Pot White
Aji Yellow (The ridiculously tall one compared to the rest)
Antillais Caribbean
Black Hungarian
Bolivian Rainbow
Carolina Reaper
Habanero Red
Kraken
Maules Red
Mulato Isleno
Picante a Cuore
Scotch Bonnet Red
Scotch Bonnet Orange
Since this is my first post on this site, do we have a place to ask for help identifying problems with the plants?
I dont have any pictures of the germination but you've probably seen that many times already.
So lets get to the pictures

About half the plants have started flowering, im not sure if i should pinch em since most of the plants are just around 4 months old. Especially the Aji Yellow (tall one in the back) seems a bit lanky and im considering both topping the plant and pinching the flowers
Left: Black Hungarian Fruits
Middle: 7 Pot White, those fruits are impossible to see unless you move all the branches and leaves aside, the plant in general seems a bit weird. Its really short (about 10cm to the top leaves) but at the same time super wide and bushy (about 30cm diameter)
Right: Bolivian Rainbow, this is actually the oldest plant and it started fruiting a few months ago actually.
