Does cold weather make milkd peppers?

I today I bit a chunk of bhut jolokia off and it was pretty hot but no big deal, feeling stupid I ate and chewed half the largest ghost pepper I could find, surprisingly after some rapid hiccups it wasn't that bad, its only been about 70 degrees out 60 at night so did that affect pepper heat or am I finally tolerant to the evil things? Ive seen 5 people throw up from eating the ones I grow.

Probably a combination of both the cooler temps and your increasing tolerance. If you miss the burn don't eat anymore for a month or two then have at 'em again.

70s and 60s shouldn't be that much of a drop off if only for a short period of time. They like it hot (80° > 85°F) without too much rain. But when growing outside all good things come to an end. If you're eating them a lot you will build tolerance.
