Does what I choose to feed my plants with affect the taste of the fruit?

Yes it will effect the brix level. Organic is known to produce superior flavor.

If I don't flush hydro peppers often I notice a metallic taste. Organic I think tastes better...most of my grow is organic soil--- but I'm really loving what aquaponics does to plants in general
