DotCom's 2015 Glog

Thought I'd get my seeds selected & Glog started.

Heres what I have in mind so far:

Assam
Douglah (3rd attempt is a charm ;) )
7-Pot Merlot
Bhut Jolokia Red
Naga Viper
7-Pot Primo (2nd attempt is a charm)
Devil's Tongue
JA Hot Chocolate

Will prolly add 1-3 more types depending on germination rates.

The two that I have not been able to sucessfully grow? I have a better batch of seeds this time I think (fingers crossed ;) )

Meanwhile, outside my window. My "state fair"  :P  grow pots and my re-purposed tomato cages:

starting to take off. A little too much rain for my liking lately but they have grown despite that. Have TO TAKE THEM INSIDE WHEN STRONG STORMS COME WHICH i DON'T LIKE DOING BECAUSE PEPPERS HATE AIR CONDITIONING imo (Ooops!! Caps lock)

Looking nice and healthy there bro .... Hopefully the rain stops for you .. I feel your pain with the rain ... We have had over a metre of rain since April here ... It's winter so I can excuse it but still makes things tough to grow or to get much accomplished. Keep on growing!!

Just had a solid week of good strong sun & light winds

Procured some potting soil & potted-up 2-3 plants. :)  They will be in these pots for the rest of the season.

potted-up the three youngest unknowns from my list into a nice large pot w/ proper potting soil:

just ate a pepper I rec'd from a grower that Nigel also got some peppers from. My plants are not far enough along yet as I started later than usual. My list has a primo as I'm guessing that is what this is. Ate the 1/2 w/ the tail. It was a scorcher from the get-go. Intense burn on roof of mouth & tip of tongue :fireball:  Was able to regain my composure after 5 mins so it appears I still do have a tolerance somewhat:

looks like I found my Red Bhut plant as the label got lost. The phenotype looks right. They ripen from green, to orange, to red (see below). I'll know when I eat one because Bhuts have a particular taste like tobacco. What do you think?

might've also located my douglah although the two pods on the plant are dwarves. If/when it turns brown, I'll know ;)

Finally ate a JA Hot Chocolate ystrdy. Was hot but not as hot as the prolific plant w/ peppers all over it (top of post #37). The heat-level qualified as a superhot, thats for sure.

Harvested the prolific plant to make hot sauce ystrdy. Got 1/4 lb of peppers.
