Douglah peppers and seeds

I would like to know if anyone can tell me what the SHU are for the douglah? I am looking and trying to get the hottest peppers and seeds to make a hot sauce and seeds to grow the peppers so I will have them for my hot sauce. If any one can help me out with seeds or the fresh peppers that would be great. Please let me know. Thanks.

if you are looking for the hottest it's trinidad scorpion Butch T strain.
if you want some good seeds and no hybrid or crossed seeds buy them at hippyseed or find some grower that isoltae the plants.

there is also the NAGA viper (come in second) and the bhut jolokia (ghost chili).

sure you want the HOTTEST but in one year another one will probably be hotter than the "Butch T" Strain

anyway if you have a product you will need to control quality and be sure that you offer a product that will always taste the same (customer want something repeatable) so choose your seeds wisely and grow them isolated.

you seem to look for the super super hot while it will probably give you a tasteless or not very good tasty hot sauce.
tehre are strain of pepper better suited to give you a tasty yet infernal product. if it taste like fuel no one will buy a second bottle.

the infinity is still hotter than douglah by a bit
hope that helps not sure of shu however
thanks your friend Joe

I was in a similar boat (looking for a superhot that was suitable hot sauce.) I decided Yellow 7 Pot is going to be my first sauce pepper, because there are so many folks on hear that cite it's good taste. My thinking is that every other ingredient you add to a sauce is lowering the SHUs of your final product. Instead of using the heat of the pepper to control the heat of the sauce, I'm going to control heat by increasing the percentage of peppers in the recipe. My strategy is going to be start with a flavorful superhot, and build the sauce from there.
