Welcome back to Slosh's Bar & Grill and welcome to our 2014 Hot Sauce Advent Calendar ... 25 sauces in 25 days!

On the nineteenth day of Christmas Slosh is joined by his friend Ross and they try Dragon Berry from Jungle Rain - http://junglerain.com.au/

I used to work with Ross at Murdoch University where I worked in the library ... and he is a dead-set legend ... he told me that he loved spicy food ever since working in South America many years ago ... so I thought I would pop down and share some sauce with him ... now that we know he has a reasonable tolerance (I let him try Killer Swarm from Pex Peppers ...) next time we will have to try something hot 

This sauce was absolutely delicious ... great sweet & tart flavour ... not a great amount of heat but there was a slight tingle ... this would be great on ice-cream/pancakes/crepes all that kind of stuff ... but it would also go great on roast meat ... especially turkey ... another unique and different sauce from Jungle Rain ... awesome.

Just put an order in with Chilli Mojo including a bottle of this based on your review, would have ordered 2 but it was the last one!  Keep the reviews coming buddy. 
 
Really enjoyed this sauce, going to have to have a crack at making something similar and dial the heat up a couple of notches.  Great flavours, berries are forward and slosh is right, this and ice-cream is an awesome combo.  Highly recommend this one.

I haven't been back here in a while ... life got in the way and all that ... and seeing this has not only put a smile back on my face ... but I think I might have to start putting our reviews up here again ... we are now doing a new hot sauce review every Tuesday and Thursday (and now beer on Sundays!)
