If you could choose your next job, what would it be?
It does not matter that you are not qualified for the position just that you would choose it as your #1 choice. Call it on the job training if you want but it is yours regardless.
I am curious how many of you would be competing for my choice.
 
Working on the ISS seems like it would be cool but at the same time there's a lot of bs they have to deal with up there like the ways they have to clean themselves, their little sleeping bag closets and what not. 
 
I guess my dream job would be running a legal and governmentally un-hassled canna growop with a store front. My GF can do the accounting and sales and I can stay back in the lab with the girls. 
 
Own a business as ammo discounter. Commercial parties here have a monopoly. If I would have the money and time I'd go to a European ammo manufacturer and buy a very small selection of calibers in bulk. 115/124gr 9mm FMJ, 5,56 in 55/62gr FMJ and SP, 7,62 in 147gr FMJ, 22lr Standard and HV.. Just that and Standard relaas components like powder and bullets. Drop the prices in a discounter sort of way (buy more = pay less) and only open 2 days a week so that I have a shitload of free time.

Why is that? I pay 11cts for prime quality new made military match ammo (RUAG Swiss P cost price) for which people are bitching on matches. A lot of people stop shooting as the prices went through the roof. Here the cheapest surplus is 45cts for regular ball (!).

I would take great pride in rescueing peoples hobby and I already calculator that it would still be highly lucrative, especially if you keep the selection small. Plus fucking with that (rude) monopoly holder would just be fun.. because they are absolute fucktards. The market is relatively small in Europe, they use that as an excuses to be rude, oncooperative and safe (I.e don't execute recalls as only distributor etc).

After I fucked their business up I'd go into sustainable, Niche market meats by putting some prime cattle (Wiesent, heckrind and belgian white/blue) on a lot of acres. The same with some prime pork (mangalitza x Iberico and mangalitza x duroc). Sell prime meat through Europe.

Trouble is it is hard to reach the level to make a good living.

Top of my bucket list would be to pull my book off the shelf at a big store like Barns and Noble.

Organic farmer - I've been interested in farms all my life. I even grew up with livestock, a garden, and a greenhouse in our backyard. I'd love to raise pigs, goats, meat rabbits, chickens & turkeys, and a huge garden and greenhouse. Oh, and I'd grow hot peppers there. Yes peppers sound like a good idea.  :drooling:

I'm from outside of your country, and might have missed a nuance or two... it's happened a few times. I googled 'AGOTUS' and found nothing i could relate to.
On the other hand, i admire anyone who wants the task of watch-dogging the heels of anybody with too much power. It's a difficult position to hold with any moral certitude -- "quis custodiet ipsos custodes" ('who shall keep the keepers?') -- but a most necessary task. I'm sure many Americans and Canadians concur.

Heck, Capcom, i was going to choose 'pepper grower' for my dream job... this is a helluva career choice. Not one i've got the patience or strong stomach to face. I mean, i get morally outraged at the sight of a few aphids....
