yup...root rot, or at least that's what it looks like to me....I lost about 40 that I transplanted from starter tray to 5 gallon containers this year because of root rot and they did exactly what this one did..
I concure, root rot! That sux man! Had that happen to me also last year on 5 pepper plants.
holding my breath 4 out of 58 TS lost so far, its been 2 weeks since the transplant.
