(DWC) Slimy Roots After Og Biowar + Roots Excelurator

In my grow, I use GH series 3 part nutes and an airstone in each (lightproof) res. My plants were doing great and I just did a res change. I finished brewing my OG Biowar tea to Cap's specs with the addition of some Great White and Roots Excelurator, and poured 1.5cps in my 10gal reservoirs.
 
Flash forward to today; two days after treatment. My roots went from crisp white to brown in color (from the molasses in the tea?), developed this weird foamy/slimy coating and are all clumped together. What the heck happened?

Keep your grow simple... stick with the GH nutes and all will be super fine :)
 
Maybe you could start a separate grow to test your tea ??  I'm all for experimentation, but if you do deviate from the "norm".... expect to have results that are not so................good.
